You might think that we here at casa cabeza would have received the memo instructing everyone cool to paint their porch roof tropical blue.

P. S. This house is totally Zen, in that in has an outdoor ceiling fan (see last section of Genjo Koan).

Friday afternoon, a chilly and gray day was coming to a close. After studying for a spell, Tilson and Wilson tooted around to search for casa cabezas.


This pic is proof of the aforementioned gray-ness that was pervading the late afternoon on Friday. Only a few good casa cabezas could save the day.


Ta-da! The builder of this house must have had an italian cousin. There is no other explanation.


The clouds couldn't keep the colors off of this little salt-box!


Our search finally ended with seeing the light through this petite baum-haus.

Come hither Greenlandians!

We are bound and so determined to have a casa cabaza visitor from Greenland. Hope this beauty from nearby Nova Scotia with round windows helps entice.

Broken Angel

Apparently this home has come under some criticism for not meeting codes. From what I read about it, the house has evolved over the years to become the Broken Angel it is today. Will it be saved or torn down?!!?!! Thanks to Rob for this submission
